We all know we need to exercise but how critical is stretching?

Stretching can be a game changer for many of us, but we need to do it almost daily to benefit.

There are many movements and stretches that you can incorporate into your daily routine to maintain your strength, improve your stability, reduce pain, maintain joint flexibility and improve your overall health. However, there is no one-size-fit strategy. Your body is unique, and you should focus on what works for you at any particular moment.

Listen to your body and understand what stretch it needs and the outcome you want from a stretch. Flexibility is an important part of health and wellness. So, if you are feeling tight, use more gentle stretches. The more you stretch, the more you are going to feel good.

In this episode, Holly Robison, a yoga instructor and wellness coach, talks about why you should start stretching daily and the types of stretching that are good for you, depending on your current lifestyle and health condition.
